About Jump Only

Jump Only strips platforming down to one move: you can only jump left or jump right. There's no run button, no double jump, no dash — just a small character bouncing forward through 49 levels, and every choice is which direction to spring in next.

That single constraint is what makes it work. Spikes and saw-blades crowd the path, and a level often boils down to a rhythm of quick left-right-left taps timed to gaps that are just barely wide enough. The theme changes every few levels, which resets your read on the layout and keeps early muscle memory from carrying you through later, harder sections.

Controls

  • Jump left: A, Left Arrow, or Left Mouse Button
  • Jump right: D, Right Arrow, or Right Mouse Button

Tips

  • There's no in-between move — every input is a full jump, so short, deliberate taps beat holding a key down.
  • Saw-blades usually telegraph their sweep before they hit; wait a beat rather than jumping the instant you see one.
  • When the theme changes, slow down for the first level or two until you've seen the new obstacle patterns.

Good fit for short sessions where you want something twitchy and a bit punishing rather than a long story-driven platformer.
