Laser Quest is a minimalist 3D puzzle game built around a single idea: bend a beam of light until it reaches its target. Each level drops a laser source and one or more crystals into a small floating scene full of mirrors, prisms and blockers, and it's up to you to rotate the pieces until the beam threads through the obstacles and lights every crystal at once.
There's no timer pushing you along, so a session is really about turning a piece, watching how the beam reacts, and adjusting from there. Early levels teach the basic idea of redirecting a beam off a single mirror; later ones stack multiple beams, colors and rotating parts that all have to line up together before a level clears.
Controls
Everything is click-and-rotate: use the mouse to click and drag pieces into position on desktop, or tap and drag the same pieces on a touchscreen. No keyboard is used.
Tips
- Trace the beam from the source first — most puzzles have one piece that's obviously misaligned, and fixing that opens up the rest of the path.
- When multiple beams are in play, solve for one crystal at a time instead of trying to line everything up in one move.
- If a rotation looks right but the beam still misses, check for a second piece further down the path that also needs turning.
It's a good fit for short, quiet puzzle breaks — nothing to install, just open it and start rotating.
