Metal Guns Fury Game

Metal Guns Fury is a side-scrolling shooter from Playtouch: pick one of four soldiers and fight your way across an island that a horde of renegade slugs has taken over. It plays like a classic run-and-gun, sending waves of enemies at you from both sides of the screen while you hold the line and push forward.

You start out on foot with a rifle, but the fight doesn't stay that way for long — tanks and mechs turn up mid-level, and hopping into one trades your character's mobility for serious firepower against the bigger groups. Every run ends with a score that goes up against the game's leaderboard, so runs are short enough to chase a better number right away.

Controls

A/D or the left and right arrow keys move your soldier, and the spacebar fires your weapon.

Tips

• Try each of the four soldiers — they're not identical, so one may suit your playstyle better than the others.
• Grab a tank or mech as soon as one appears; they hit much harder than your starting rifle when the slugs swarm.
• Keep moving instead of holding one spot — enemies come from both directions and will surround you if you stand still.
