About Run 2

Run 2 is a gravity-shifting platformer set in a minimalist, neon-lit void. You take control of a small alien navigating a series of floating tunnels, where running off the edge of a path doesn't mean falling to your doom—it means the camera snaps 90 degrees, turning the wall into your new floor. This simple mechanic turns straightforward platforming into a frantic, mind-bending spatial puzzle.

The pace is fast, and the level design constantly throws you into situations where you have to think multiple steps ahead. Before each level, you choose between two characters: the Runner, who is easy to control and has precise jumps, and the Skater, who trades tight handling for high momentum and massive leaps. Figuring out which character fits the architecture of the current level is half the battle.

Controls

  • Left and Right Arrows (or A/D): Steer your character left or right.
  • Up Arrow (or W / Space): Jump.

Move off the edge of your current platform to rotate the screen and shift gravity to the adjacent wall.

Expert Tips

  • Jump height matters: A quick tap gives you a short hop, while holding the jump key produces a much higher leap. Use short hops for tight spaces and hold it down when crossing large gaps.
  • Don't force one character: If you are dying repeatedly on a level with the Skater, switch to the Runner. The Runner's ability to stop quickly is mandatory for levels with lots of tiny platforms.
  • Look ahead: When you shift gravity, it takes a split second for the camera to catch up. Train your eyes to look at the next wall before you make the transition so you can steer while airborne.

With its hypnotic synth soundtrack and immediate restart loop, Run 2 is perfect for players who enjoy challenging, reflex-driven games that reward muscle memory and fast reactions.
