Shark.io drops you into an open arena full of players, each one a shark hunting for the same thing you are: to grow big enough to eat everyone smaller and avoid everyone bigger. It's the familiar .io feeding-frenzy loop — collect, dash, grow, repeat — dressed up as a fight for King of the Sea.
You start small and vulnerable, picking off swimmers and weaker sharks while staying clear of anything with more bulk than you. White pickups scattered around the water fill your boost bar, which you spend on a dash to close distance on prey or escape a bigger predator. Stars add to your score on top of your size, so a good run means balancing safe grinding against the risk of pushing into contested water for bigger gains. Between rounds you can pick a horn weapon and reskin your shark into creatures, including a few that aren't sea animals at all.
Controls
- WASD, arrow keys, or mouse to move
- Spacebar or left mouse click to dash
Tips
- Keep your boost bar topped up before approaching a fight — a dash you don't have is a fight you can't win.
- Stick to the edges of a crowd until you've sized up who's bigger before committing to an attack.
- Chase stars when the water's clear, and switch to hunting smaller sharks when it isn't.
Runs are quick to jump into and just as quick to end, so it suits short sessions as much as longer grinding toward a bigger shark.
