Snake Blockade Game

Snake Blockade turns the classic snake formula into a resource race. You steer a snake around a maze-like arena by dragging the left mouse button, and every dot you pick up adds to your length and to a running point total. Blockades cut across the path, and the only way through is to spend points crushing them — so growing longer and staying flush with points both matter at the same time.

That trade-off is where the pressure comes from: crush through too many walls too early and you can burn through your points before you've grown enough to handle what's ahead, but stall too long and the blockades box you in. A run ends the moment your point total hits zero, so every wall you meet is a decision, not a reflex.

Controls

Snake Blockade is played entirely with the mouse: hold and drag the left mouse button to steer the snake's head. It also runs on touch devices, so on phones and tablets you drag with a finger instead.

Tips

• Build a cushion of points before you challenge a blockade — crushing through costs points, and hitting zero ends the run immediately.
• Prioritize collecting nearby dots over rushing at the nearest wall, so you're never caught short of the points you need to break through.
