Swindler puts you in control of a green slime-like thief who's permanently attached to a stretchy cord instead of standing on solid ground. Rather than walking or jumping between platforms, you swing from anchor point to anchor point, winding the rope into tighter loops to build speed and then letting go at the right moment to fling yourself across the level.
Each of the game's levels is a self-contained physics puzzle: reach the treasure chest at the far end while dodging hazards and enemies along the way. Momentum is everything here — the level itself rotates as you swing, so timing a release wrong sends you straight into a wall, a spike, or one of the lethal orange tiles that kill on contact with either your body or the rope.
Controls
- Left / Right arrow — rotate the level and swing your cord
- Up / Down arrow — move up or down along the rope
- Spacebar — pick up or drop a boulder
Tips
- Build swing speed before you let go — releasing mid-swing carries far more momentum than starting from a dead stop.
- Boulders you pick up with spacebar can be carried across gaps or dropped to block a hazard instead of left behind.
- Orange tiles are instant death on contact, and that includes your rope brushing against one, not just your body — give them a wide berth when you swing.
It's a good fit for anyone who likes momentum-based physics puzzles with a bit of precision timing, in short level-sized chunks.
