The Idiot Test is a short trick-question game: each screen gives you an instruction, and the whole game is figuring out what it actually wants rather than what it seems to say. Some prompts want you to act fast, others punish you for clicking at all — the trap is reading too quickly and doing the "obvious" thing instead of the literal thing.
There's no story or scoring system to speak of. You just move from one puzzle to the next, and a wrong answer usually just resets that screen so you can look again and catch the joke. It's a five-minute game built entirely around close reading and not overthinking simple words.
Controls
Left mouse button (or tap) only — click on-screen elements exactly as each screen instructs.
Tips
- Read every instruction word for word before doing anything — the trick is almost always in the exact phrasing, not the obvious action.
- If a prompt seems to want a fast reaction, check whether it's actually telling you to wait or do nothing.
- A wrong click just resets the puzzle, so there's no harm in guessing once you've actually read it carefully.
A good fit for a quick break between classes rather than a long session — it's built to be replayed with friends who haven't seen the trick yet.
