Virtual Piano turns your keyboard into a full-sized 88-key piano. Click a key with the mouse or press its assigned letter and a real piano note rings out, so you can pick out a melody, work through a song by ear, or just noodle around between classes with nothing to install.
The layout runs left to right across your keyboard the same way it would on a real keyboard, and a chord-assist option is available if you want full chords to ring from a single keypress instead of stacking notes yourself.
Controls
- Keyboard and mouse both work
- White keys: Caps Lock, A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, ;, ', and the left arrow key
- Black keys: Q, W, R, T, Y, I, O, [, ], and Enter
Tips
- Turn on chord assist if you want to play full chords without holding down several keys at once
- Play in on a bigger screen so you can see the whole 88-key range at once
- Look up a song's letter notation online and use this as the keyboard to play it back
It suits anyone who wants a quick, no-download way to practice a melody or just enjoy the sound of a piano without owning one.
