Word City Crossed is an engaging word puzzle game that combines the mechanics of word searching and crosswords with a virtual journey around the globe. At the start of each level, you are given a circular plate of letters at the bottom of the screen and a blank crossword-style grid at the top. Your task is to connect the letters in various combinations to discover the hidden words that fit into the grid.

As you successfully solve puzzles, you travel to different cities, unlocking new themes, landmarks, and increasingly challenging stages. The game challenges your vocabulary and cognitive skills while keeping the experience relaxing and visually appealing. Beyond the main grid, you can also search for extra bonus words to earn additional coins, which can be saved and spent on helpful hints when you get stuck on complex levels.

Controls

• Mouse Left Click and Drag (Desktop): Click on the starting letter, hold the button down, and drag your cursor through the letters in the circle to connect them. Release the button to submit the word.
• Touch and Swipe (Mobile/Tablet): Tap the first letter and swipe your finger across the letters to connect them.

Tips

• Begin by finding short, three-letter words first; filling these in provides intersecting letters that make it much easier to deduce the longer, more difficult words in the grid.
• If you feel stuck, try mentally rearranging the letters or looking at the circular wheel from different angles to spot hidden letter patterns and suffixes.
• Always keep searching for valid words that do not fit the main crossword grid, as finding these bonus words rewards you with extra coins.
• Save your accumulated coins for the later, more advanced cities where the letter count increases and the puzzles become significantly harder.
