Apple Shooter is a tense, physics-based archery game where your only goal is to knock an apple off your friend's head. You start at a short distance with a simple shot, but every time you successfully hit the target, you are forced to step further back. What begins as an easy task quickly turns into a nerve-wracking test of precision as the target gets smaller and the margin for error shrinks.
The stakes are as high as they can get in a browser game. If your aim is too low or your shot lacks power, your arrow will strike your friend instead of the fruit, instantly ending the round in a graphic failure. You must carefully judge the angle and draw strength of every single shot to keep your friend safe and advance to the final stage.
Controls
- Mouse: Move up or down to adjust the angle of your bow.
- Left Click (Hold): Draw the bowstring back to build power.
- Left Click (Release): Fire the arrow.
Tips
- Watch the power meter: The power bar in the top corner is your best tool for consistency. Memorize how much power you used on a successful shot to help gauge the next one.
- Aim slightly higher as you step back: Gravity pulls your arrows down. The further you are from the target, the more you will need to compensate by aiming above the apple.
- Don't rush your release: There is no time limit. Take a moment to steady your aim and double-check your angle before letting the arrow fly.
