B Cubed is a logic puzzle about steering a small cube across a grid of tiles to a marked target tile. Every tile you cross disappears behind you, so the safe part of the board keeps shrinking as you move.
Some tiles carry a number, which means they can hold a couple of extra crossings before they vanish for good — those double-use tiles are usually the key to a route that would otherwise dead-end. Step off the edge or corner yourself in and the level restarts, so most of the challenge is in reading the board before you move rather than reacting fast.
Controls
The cube moves with the arrow keys, one tile per press in the direction you choose.
Tips
- Study a level before your first move and work out which tiles need a second crossing to keep your path open.
- Save numbered tiles for reaching corners you can't otherwise loop back to.
- If you've boxed yourself in a few moves early, it's usually faster to restart than to hunt for a way out.
It suits anyone who wants a few minutes of quiet planning rather than anything reflex-based — no clock, no combat, just a shrinking board and a target tile.
