Fancy Pants 3 Game

Fancy Pants 3 is World 3 of Brad Borne's Fancy Pants Adventure series, the momentum-platformer starring the stickman hero in orange trousers. This time pirates kidnap his sister Cutie Pants, and the chase across their ship and camp hands him a new toy along the way: a pencil that swings and jabs like a sword once he picks it up.

The core feel is the same buttery, speed-driven running and jumping the series is known for, but World 3 adds to it. Swimming shows up for the first time, letting you kick off walls and floors underwater instead of just paddling, and short micro trials drop you into tight, timed obstacle runs that reward committing to a fast line over playing it safe.

Controls

• Left/Right arrows: run
• Down arrow: duck, slide, or roll
• S: jump
• A: attack with the pencil, once you've found it
• R: reset back to the last checkpoint

Tips

• Run into jumps rather than starting them from a standstill — the series' whole feel is built around carrying speed into a gap, and a running jump clears far more than a stationary one.
• Use wall kicks to reach ledges above you instead of hunting for a ramp; a lot of the series' secret areas are only reachable by chaining a couple of wall jumps.
• Grab the three stars in a chapter while you're there — going back for them later means replaying the whole chapter.
• In a micro trial, don't stop to think mid-run; the timer is tight enough that hesitating costs more than a slightly risky jump.

If you liked the momentum platforming in the earlier Fancy Pants games, World 3 is more of the same core feel with swimming and the pencil fights layered on top, not a reinvention of it.
