Gunspin is a quirky physics arcade game where your only goal is to launch a firearm as far as possible by shooting it mid-air. You start by picking your launch angle, and once the weapon is airborne, you must time your shots so the recoil propels you further forward. Every meter traveled earns you coins, which you can spend to increase your bullet power or add extra rounds to the magazine.
The appeal of the game comes from the chaotic trial-and-error progression. In the beginning, you will only manage a few short hops before hitting the ground. As you keep playing and buying upgrades, you will unlock completely new weapons—from basic revolvers to heavy machine guns and even rocket launchers—each with their own recoil physics and ammo counts that let you cross entire desert, sky, and space stages.
Controls
- Mouse Click or Spacebar: Fire a shot to propel the gun
- Mouse Cursor: Aim the starting launch angle
Tips
- Wait for the right angle: Don't just spam all your bullets immediately. Let the gun spin and only shoot when the barrel is pointing backward so the recoil pushes you forward.
- Upgrade ammo first: Having more shots gives you much more control over the flight path than a slight increase in bullet power early on.
