Lurkers.io is a fast-paced 2D multiplayer sandbox game that combines resource gathering, crafting, and base-building with intense retro combat. Inspired by classic side-scrolling block builders, players dig through destructible pixel-art environments to gather materials, construct fortifications, and defend their base against players or waves of undead. Accessible directly in your browser, the game offers several action-packed modes to suit different playstyles.

Players can choose from several game modes. In Zombie Survival, teammates must work together to build strong defenses and purchase upgraded firearms to survive relentless waves of monsters. Competitive players can jump into Bedwars to defend their team's bed while attempting to destroy the enemy's base, or explore open-world survival maps to mine resources, craft tools, and fight in free-for-all battles.

How to Play

In most modes, you begin with basic tools. Use your mining gear to collect wood, stone, and minerals from the environment. You can open the buy menu using the hotkey to trade resources for advanced weapons, ammunition, armor, and healing items. Construct sturdy walls and traps to protect yourself from enemy gunfire and hostile creatures.

Gameplay Tips

• Fortify Early: In Zombie Survival, start building stone or wood walls around your spawn area immediately to hold off the first wave. Use spikes and traps to damage oncoming zombies automatically.
• Manage Your Ammo: Keep an eye on your ammunition count. Buy extra rounds from the shop menu before waves start, and reload during quiet moments to avoid getting caught empty-handed.
• Gather and Sell: Mine valuable ores and chop down trees during peaceful moments. You can sell excess wood and stone to earn gold for higher-tier weapons like sniper rifles and assault rifles.
