Sling Drift Game

Sling Drift is an endless arcade racer where precision timing is the only thing keeping you on the track. Instead of steering a car conventionally, you launch it through corners by grappling onto fixed pillars scattered along a winding road. As your car speeds forward automatically, latching onto a pillar slingshots you in an arc—release too early or too late, and you will fly off the edge and end your run.

Controls

• Desktop: Hold the Spacebar or Left Mouse Button to attach your car to the nearest pillar and begin drifting. Release to detach.
• Mobile: Tap and hold anywhere on the screen to grab a pillar. Lift your finger to let go.

Tips

• Watch your exit angle: Releasing your grapple is just as important as starting it. Wait until the nose of your car points directly down the center of the upcoming straight before letting go.
• Ignore the coins early on: Attempting to stretch your drifts to collect every coin will often result in a crash. Prioritize staying on the road until you are comfortable with the rhythm.
• Anticipate double corners: The track sometimes throws immediate consecutive turns at you. Be ready to tap and hold again the instant you release the previous drift.
