About Stack

Stack is an arcade game about precision, patience, and building the tallest tower possible. The premise is incredibly simple: colorful blocks slide back and forth across your screen, and you must click or tap to drop them onto the foundation. Your goal is to line them up perfectly.

When you place a block perfectly, it flashes and the tower grows. But if your timing is slightly off, any part of the new block that overhangs the tower is sliced away and falls into the abyss. The remaining piece becomes the new surface area for the next block, meaning your target gets smaller and smaller with each mistake. If you manage to stack several blocks perfectly in a row, the target area slowly grows back, rewarding rhythm and consistency over panic.

Controls

  • Left Click / Tap: Drop the moving block onto the stack.

Tips

  • Rhythm is key: The blocks move at a consistent speed. Try to find the beat and tap to the rhythm rather than just reacting visually.
  • Don't panic when small: When your block gets sliced down to a tiny sliver, the game feels fast, but the block speed hasn't actually changed. Take a breath and wait for the perfect moment.
  • String perfects together: Hitting perfect drops consecutively will increase the size of your block again, which is crucial for surviving deep into a run.
