Stupid Zombies turns the classic undead apocalypse into a satisfying physics puzzle. Instead of frantically running from hordes, you stand in place and use your shotgun to clear rooms of completely stationary zombies. The challenge lies in making every bullet count by carefully angling your shots to ricochet off walls, ceilings, and floors.
With a limited amount of ammo per level, geometry is your best weapon. You need to calculate the perfect trajectory to hit multiple targets with a single shot or trigger environmental chain reactions. It's less about fast reflexes and more about thinking through the angles before pulling the trigger.
Controls
- Aim: Move your mouse to set the trajectory. A dotted line provides a preview of your shot's initial path.
- Shoot: Left-click to fire your weapon.
Tips
- Use the environment: Keep an eye out for explosive red barrels or heavy blocks. Triggering these hazards is often much more efficient than trying to shoot every zombie directly.
- Patience pays off: Wait for your previous bullet to finish bouncing completely. Sometimes a slow-rolling ricochet will knock down the last zombie you need, saving you a precious shot.
- Maximize ricochets: Look for corners and 45-degree angles that will send your bullet through a dense cluster of targets in one go.
If you enjoy methodical problem-solving and the satisfaction of a perfectly executed trick shot, this game offers a great change of pace from traditional action shooters.
