Wheely 5 Game

Wheely 5: Armageddon is the fifth entry in Pegas Games' point-and-click series about a small red car, and this time the setup is a joke that keeps escalating. Wheely just needs to run the most ordinary errand there is: buy a replacement lawnmower. The catch is that a meteor is on a collision course with the city, and everyone around him is losing their minds about it while he tries to get his one small task done.

Play stays exactly as simple as the rest of the series: click Wheely to send him rolling forward, click him again to stop, and click on the levers, switches and objects scattered through each scene to clear whatever is blocking his path. The comedy comes from the contrast — panicked crowds and collapsing streets in the background, a car quietly trying to finish his shopping list in the foreground.

Tips

• Click around the whole scene first — plenty of interactive objects don't look obviously different from the background until you try them.
• Order matters more than speed. If a sequence of clicks doesn't work, try the same objects in a different order before assuming you're stuck.
• A few puzzles are timing-based rather than order-based — watch what's already moving on screen before you click.
