Flipside Game

Flipside is a gravity-defying motorbike racer from Nitrome. You drive a track built like a loop, and when your speed builds up enough your bike can peel off the road and ride along the ceiling to cut across a turn or slip past a rival — a trick that turns ordinary passing into a real risk-reward decision rather than just holding down the gas.

Races are short and built for rematches: fifteen tracks, each one asking a slightly different question about when the ceiling shortcut is worth the wobble. Play alone against the field or share the keyboard for local two-player racing, where knowing exactly when to flip becomes the difference between a clean pass and clipping the wall.

Tips

• Flipping to the ceiling costs momentum, so save it for corners or a genuine overtake, not every straightaway.
• Watch the track ahead before you commit to a flip — landing back on the road at the wrong angle scrubs off speed.
• In two-player races, forcing your opponent to react to your flip is often more useful than the flip itself.
