Idle House Build is a clicker game with one goal: keep bricks going up. Every click drops another brick onto your current house, and every brick finished pays out a little cash, with a bigger bonus once the whole house is done and a new one starts.
The idle layer comes in once you have money to spend. Upgrades make each click worth more bricks and more money, while hiring builders lets the house keep growing on its own, adding bricks automatically on a timer even when you're not clicking. Upgrading a builder shortens that timer or adds more bricks per tick, so the balance shifts from "click as fast as you can" early on to "check back and reinvest" later.
Controls
Left mouse button (or tap on touchscreens) to place a brick. That's the entire input — everything else is spent through the upgrade menu.
Tips
- Split spending between builders and click upgrades rather than maxing one — builders carry the idle income, but click upgrades still matter whenever you're actively playing.
- Check back periodically to reinvest earnings into upgrades; a builder sitting on an old, weak tier is leaving bricks on the table.
It's a low-pressure game to leave open in a spare tab — there's no fail state, just a slowly climbing pile of houses and cash.
