About Swordtail

Swordtail drops you and your kingdom into the path of an endless monster invasion. You move around an open arena, gathering resources from the environment and cutting down enemies as they close in, then spend what you've collected on better gear so the next wave hits you a little less hard.

There's no separate attack button — get close to something you want to harvest or fight and the action happens automatically, which keeps the pace fast and the controls simple. A second player can drop in and defend the kingdom alongside you, splitting the work of gathering and fighting as the waves escalate.

Controls

  • Move: WASD, the arrow keys, or click-and-drag with the mouse
  • Pause: Escape
  • Attack or gather: walk into an enemy or resource — proximity does the rest

Swordtail is made by 7Spot Games, the studio behind the Duo Survival and Duo Vikings series, and it plays like a natural extension of that lineup — short sessions built around surviving one more wave.
