About Moon Waltz

Moon Waltz is a short and highly replayable one-button adventure that puts a spin on a late-night walk. You play as a man strolling through his neighborhood on a simple errand to buy cigarettes. The catch is that whenever the full moon shines on him, he transforms into a destructive werewolf.

The entire game revolves around controlling the clouds. By holding a single button, you push the clouds apart to reveal the moon and trigger your transformation. The man walks forward automatically, so you must carefully time when to "wolf out" to smash through obstacles, deal with enemies, or scare bystanders, and when to stay human to avoid drawing unwanted attention from the police.

Controls

  • Spacebar or Left Mouse Click: Hold to part the clouds and transform into a werewolf. Release to cover the moon and return to human form.

Tips

  • Experiment with timing: Different characters react differently depending on whether you approach them as a human or a werewolf. Replay the game to discover every possible interaction.
  • Stay out of trouble: Sometimes staying human is the only way to avoid the cops. If you transform in the wrong spot, you might get arrested or worse.
  • Look for chain reactions: Your werewolf form can bash through barriers that would normally block your path, opening up new situations.
